Built In Excuses... Already Seeking A Way Out
Got an injury two weeks ago…
Sprained toe after sparring a spazzy white belt.
I showed up the next day.
Training partners shocked and said I should be resting.
Made me think how I had every single validate rational reason to skip a training session.
Pushed through the pain and kept to the planned training schedule.
A modest two hours per day for five consecutive days Monday thru Friday.
Stay the path.
Drop the intensity to work around injuries.
Don’t be the bitch that jumps on the first excuse presented to remain complacent.
Some progress is significantly better than zero process.
That’s why the hardest part is just showing up.
